STUDIO is located on the first floor of the iconic art deco building, The Standard, beautifully located at the quay of Copenhagen’s Inner Harbour. At STUDIO we cook modern scandinavian food seen through an international lense. While we are inspired by the possibilities of the local produce of the season, we also let ourselves enrich by new techniques and inspirations from all sorts of tastes and cuisines.

At STUDIO, we are driven by a passion to create meaningful gastronomy. We hand-pick our raw materials and carefully select producers who, like us, will make a positive contribution to the world around us. Our goal is to create unforgettable dining experiences with a meaningful imprint - for our guests and the generations after them.


Chef Christoffer Sørensen pays homage to the principles of creating great taste out of simplicity and preferably by selecting the close and local. Christoffer has worked 9 years for Claus Henriksen at Dragsholm, in a kitchen that was self-sufficient with pretty much everything you work with in the kitchen: fresh ingredients that were handpicked, harvested or caught right outside the kitchen door. Christoffer especially brings the extremely conscious ingredients choices in his own kitchen at STUDIO, which combines the local and the wild philosophy of modern Nordic cuisine with the cornerstones of French cuisine, and likes to draw inspiration from other cultures and kitchen techniques.

When we hired @whitey_food this year to stand in charge of STUDIO, we felt very confident that we had secured the man of the future as head chef. ⁠
We got that feeling confirmed once again when Christoffer received Michelin’s Young Chef Award at yesterdays award ceremony of Nordic Michelin Stars in Stavanger. ⁠
In their own press release, Michelin writes that the award is presented to 30-year-old Christoffer Sørensen “in recognition of the maturity he achieves in a refined and sumptuous kitchen that impresses Michelin’s inspectors.”⁠
We are extremely proud of the level and the unfailing security that Christoffer and the team have shown since he took over as head chef at STUDIO just three months ago. And we are proud that his elegant style has already resonated so much with Michelins experienced inspectors. ⁠
STUDIO’s journey with Christoffer in front has only just ⁠
begun, but we have now been confirmed again that we are on the right course, and we are very excited about where the journey will take us in the future. ⁠

Tirsdag 31. August  RADIO’s køkkenchef Patrick Godborg (tidl. Babette) og STUDIO’s køkkenchef Christoffer Sørensen (tidl. Dragsholm) kender hinanden helt tilbage fra deres elevtid. Begge blev de dengang talent-spottet, som fremtidens gastronomiske stjerner, og begge er de i dag fortsat inspireret af naturen og de vilde råvarer, der findes, når du kommer bare lidt uden for stenbroen. Med udgangspunkt i sensommerens råvarer har de sammensat en velsmagende og festlig august-menu af bæredygtigt fisk og grønt, der fluks forvandler en almindelig tirsdag til en mindeværdig mærkedag.
